The Runaway Strings are a husband and wife duo, with occasional special guests, from Ararat.
Taking inspiration from a range of genres, they play an original blend of blues, folk, ragtime and country inspired tunes.
Sounding like a tavern packed with everyone from The Pogues through to Paul Kelly, Bob Dylan, Lead Belly, Dolly Parton and The White Stripes, The Runaway Strings have taken their high energy tunes from Melbourne Cabaret clubs, to outdoor festivals, pubs, town halls and everywhere in between.
The performance will be held in the Ararat Town Hall Foyer.
Tables for four and cocktail tables will be available.
Drinks will be offered at bar prices from 5 pm, performance from 530 pm.
Feel free to drop by after work or bring your own platters or meals.
