Karen Knowles has established herself as one of Australia’s favourite singers and will be appearing at the Ararat Town Hall for a special Christmas concert as part of the Free Lunchtime Concert series.

Well known for her Carols and Christmas repertoire, Karen will perform with her musical director David Cameron accompanying her on piano and guitar.

Starting her performance career on Young Talent Time, Karen moved into recording and became the highest selling Australian female recording artists for two consecutive years. Her hits include Why Won’t You Explain, You are the Reason, Loves us All, By Request and Moonglow. She has received gold and platinum awards for her recordings, has starred in the musical Big River and was lead singer with The Seekers in the early 1990s.
