Ararat Eisteddfod
Theatrical and Classical Dance Performances
The Ararat Eisteddfod continues to be popular with the dance community and this year we are providing even more fun for everyone to join in. Help us to celebrate 10 years of Lorna’s Patisserie and join in the fun and frivolity of our Dress Up days.
Weekend of Sat 20/Sun 21 – over 130 troupes and large senior theatrical solo sections will provide an extravaganza of performances not to be missed. A busy and exciting program of dance.
Monday 22nd – Mad Monday – dress as your favourite celebrity or wear your PJ’s as this day commences at 8.30am. Enjoy the Senior ballet students as they perform their solos routines.
Wednesday 24th – On Wednesdays We Wear Pink – How pink can we make the Ararat Town Hall? Please wear everything pink! Donations can be made to support Breast Cancer and the Eisteddfod will contribute a donation too. Many of our dance community fight the fight against breast cancer, let’s show our support.
Friday 26th – Footy Friday -wear your favourite team colours or footy gear. Hot dogs will be available from Lorna’s Patisserie on this day.
The Ararat Eisteddfod Committee cannot wait to welcome you and hope you join in the fun and frivolity. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember!
$5 per session for Adult and Concession, cash only, all persons under 18 are free.
3 sessions daily – morning, afternoon & evening
Doors open for audience half hour before session time begins.
Almost continuous performances on stage with short breaks for lunch and dinner. Pop in and see us!
Friday 19th Sept. from 6pm – night session only
Saturday 20th Sept. from 9am – some troupes & older theatrical students.
Sunday 21st Sept from 9am – troupe day
Monday 22nd Sept. from 8.30am – older ballet students
Tuesday 23rd Sept from 9am – variations
Wednesday 24th Sept from 9.00am
Thursday 25th Sept. from 9.30am, no night session
Friday 26th Sept from 9.30am
Saturday 27th Sept. from 9.30am, no night session
