The Ararat Eisteddfod promotes and fosters an enjoyment and love of dance by providing a performance platform where young dance students can showcase their abilities.  We nurture each dancer’s personal development, encouraging self-improvement by way of a “critique” from a professional adjudicator.  Students perform across a range of Ballet and Theatrical genres, in solos, duos/trios or as part of a troupe.

The Ararat Eisteddfod which has been held since 1955, is run entirely by a volunteer committee and has experienced rapid growth in the last decade leading it to have the reputation of being one of the most friendly and efficiently run eisteddfods in Victoria.

Dance students and their families from across Regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne converge on Ararat every September to compete at the Ararat Eisteddfod.

Come and join us this year to witness some of these spectacular performances and some of the exceptional talent on show. You may just see some of the Stars of tomorrow!

TICKETS – available at the door. (cash only)      $6 per session or $15 a day ticket.

Time  – Doors open at 8.30am daily (3 sessions daily in the morning, afternoon & evening).  Almost continuous performances on stage with short breaks for lunch and dinner.
