Introducing our line-up…

Hailing from Sri Lanka, DILRUK JAYASINHA (RECIPIENT – Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular
New Talent, 2018) is one of the most in demand headliners on the Australian and international comedy
scene; with credits ranging from appearances at Just for Laughs, a sold out show at MICF 2017; The Art
of the Dil; and two recorded hour-long specials, for the ABC and Amazon Prime – released globally in
2020. Dil reached national audiences with his appearance in the sixth series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me
Out Of Here! Australia.

IVAN ARISTEGUIETA (NOMINEE – Most Outstanding Show, MICF 2021) is a self-described “true blue,
dinky di Venez-stralian” and multi award-winning comedian (including, Best Newcomer SCF 2016) with
credits spanning from an annual featured spot at the Oxfam MICF Gala (2016 – 2022), JFL Montreal
Comedy Festival (2017), and frequent guest appearances on Australia’s top comedy panel shows. Ivan’s
latest comedy special Happy Papi (2022) is now streaming on Paramount Plus.
TAHIR is a Logie Award-winning, internationally acclaimed stand-up comedian of Turkish descent, with a
huge list of credits to his name – including co-creating and starring in two nationally praised sit-coms –
Street Smart (Ten) and Here Come The Habibs (Nine). With an dynamic comedy resume spanning two
decades, Tahir is simply one of Australia’s finest stand-up comedians.

JEFF GREEN (SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER – The A-Z of Living Together) has been a much-loved
presence on Australian TV and radio since he first hit our shores in 1996 for his debut MICF season. Jeff’s
impressive career spans a solo West-End season, UK and Australian TV comedy specials, and countless
appearances on televised galas and comedy panel shows both here and, in the UK, – including Spicks and
Specks (ABC), Good News Week (Ten) and the Oxfam MICF Gala (Ten).

TING LIM (NATIONAL FINALIST – MICF RAW, 2018) has taken her comedy from her native Singapore all
the way to sharing the stage and screen with comedy legend Jimeoin – most recently, in Waltzing Jimeoin
(Ten) – and guest starring alongside Kitty Flanagan, Aaron Chen and Marty Sheargold in season two of Fisk
(ABC). Following her debut at the prestigious MICF RAW national comedy finals in 2018, Ting is a comedy
star on the rise.

DORA SMITH (NATIONAL FINALIST & RUNNER-UP – MICF Deadly Funny, 2022) is a 30-year-old
Noongar, Yawuru woman from Perth and Broome. She has twice competed in the national finals of MICF’s
Deadly Funny competition for emerging First Nations comedians; first in 2018 and again in 2022 where she
placed as runner-up. In a review of the 2022 competition, The Age commended Dora’s witty Adam and Eve
routine (where she “pulled out a ‘Dreamtime’ pun that would make even Tim Vine wince”!).

BEN LOMAS (INVITEE – Just For Laughs Australia 2021) has described growing up in a loving – but
Dutch – family, making him very honest and open (as the Dutch are “super blunt” in his own words). His
recent television appearances include Mad As Hell (ABC), The Front Bar (Seven), The Weekly (ABC)
and The Cheap Seats (Ten). In a career highlight, Ben was recently invited to perform at Just For Laughs
(Australia).

NICKYBOY (WINNER – Russell Gilbert Choice Comedian Award) has attracted large crowds for more
than 10 years with sell-out performances at MICF and Adelaide Fringe Festival. Throughout the decade,
he has shared the stage with some of Australia’s best-known names, won the Russell Gilbert Choice
Comedian Award and placed runner-up to Fox FM’s Dave Thornton in the Angling for a Laugh
competition. Outside of comedy, Nickyboy is an accomplished portrait artist with Fine Arts accreditations
from the VCA.
